A bus driver in Norway hops aboard the Bible Bus

June 04, 2024

For You, Lord, are most high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods. -Psalm 97:9

“I am an old man, but a young Christian.”

Praise God for this good news from Mark in Norway, where church attendance is dwindling and Islam is spreading. Here’s more of his story:

“I listen to your show daily via the app. The teachings of Dr. McGee are so powerful that I sometimes sit and marvel at how relevant they are and seem to transcend time. I actually found you via a leaflet I found in a restroom. It was hiding behind a mirror; I took it and read it. It was a short passage from the Bible that got me thinking. I wanted to know more! I started to search and came across your lovely app. I've been listening for nearly two years now. Listening has really helped me. I now read the Bible daily.

“I actually drive a bus and would love it if you could send me some Bible Bus passes. I could put them in my bus. I am thinking it would be a good way to get more people to come to Christ.”

Thank God for Mark and all those who study God’s Word with us in Norway. Today let’s start in Psalm 97:9 as we pray for more join them.

Heavenly Father, what a great and mighty God You are. We exalt You above all gods and bow before Your throne. Thank You for Jesus Christ who saved us from our sin. Because we love Him (and You), we pray for the lost in Norway who have not yet called upon His name and are headed for eternal separation from You. We know You love them and are waiting, and our hearts long for that day when they turn to You. Use Your Holy Spirit to convict them of their sin and lead them into a relationship with Your Son. Use us, as You see fit, to help point them to Your life-changing good news. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
