God’s relentless love

… Let us press on to know the Lord; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth. -Hosea 6:3 (ESV)
God’s love is relentless. That’s what Dr. McGee tells us in his study of Hosea, and that’s what Lo in Hong Kong wants to share with others. Here’s his story:
“May He remember all that you have done in His name and bless you and your families with abundance. Having listened to the book of Hosea, I now understand that no matter how hard-hearted and rebellious we are, our heavenly Father still loves us with His everlasting love. He hopes that we may have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. I am excited to share this message with my family members who have gone astray and ask you to pray that God gives me words they will receive.”
It’s true: God’s love persists despite our shortcomings. Let’s thank Him for that and pray more people in Hong Kong share this message with those they love.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love that never gives up on us. We are grateful for the assurance that Your love is as steadfast as the dawn and as refreshing as the spring rains. Help us to fully embrace this love and share it with others.
Guide us in demonstrating it through acts of kindness, forgiveness, and compassion. We lift up Lo and others who are sharing You with others. Give them the words and the courage to speak Your truth. May their efforts bear fruit and lead others to experience the depth of Your enduring love. In Jesus’ name, amen.
