God’s Light Shining in Bangladesh

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined. – Isaiah 9:2
Bangladesh is a land of rich history, natural beauty, and deep cultural traditions. Yet, despite its beauty, many in this nation still walk in spiritual darkness, searching for truth. While Islam is the predominant faith, a growing number of people are hearing the message of Jesus Christ and experiencing the transforming power of God’s Word. THRU the BIBLE’s Bengali programs are helping seekers find the truth and believers grow in their faith.
For those who follow Christ in Bangladesh, the journey is not always easy. Many face opposition from their families and communities for their faith. But God’s Word is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. As more people in Bangladesh listen to the Bible in their heart language, hope is growing, and lives are being changed for eternity.
