A New Believer’s Journey with THRU the BIBLE in Laos

- Pray for community – That those listening alone will find fellowship and opportunities to share what they’re learning.
- Pray for open hearts – That more people in Laos will be receptive to the gospel and hungry for truth.
Every journey of faith starts with a first step, but lasting change comes from engaging daily in God’s Word.
That’s what we’re celebrating today in Laos, where one young student shares how consistently listening to THRU the BIBLE has strengthened her faith. In Laos, Christians are a small minority and access to biblical resources can be limited. This makes every opportunity to study God’s Word deeply meaningful. THRU the BIBLE’s Hmong language broadcasts are helping believers engaging with the Bible in new ways.
Here’s a story from a woman in the Bokeo Province of Laos:
“I live in Laos with my husband. I am a student and we use THRU the BIBLE in the Hmong language for our lessons. I have also had the opportunity to listen to TTB on the program’s page. Although I have been studying and listening for less than a year, I can already feel how much it has deepened my understanding of God’s Word. While I still have much to learn, the Scriptures and lessons I have studied so far have greatly enriched my faith and understanding. I am confident that the TTB-Hmong program will continue to help me grow in my knowledge of God’s Word, and I am excited to share this program with my friends so they too can benefit from it.”
Praise God for how He is using THRU the BIBLE to strengthen this woman’s faith! As she grows in knowledge and confidence, she’s also becoming a light to others in her circle. May we be just as eager to learn and pass it on.
