A Homeless Man in Kazakhstan Finds Jesus

Sometimes the most unexpected hearts are the most ready to receive hope.

Today we turn our prayers to Kazakhstan, where God is using THRU the BIBLE to bring more people to know Him. There’s still spiritual hunger in the hearts of many in Kazakstan, especially among the vulnerable. One such life was changed recently, not in a church building or through a planned outreach event, but through a simple radio.

Kazakhstan's Christian population is small and access to the Bible is limited in poor and rural areas. That’s why our radio programs matter, and that’s why we celebrate stories like this one.

This story comes from the city of Almaty:

An evangelist in Almaty listens to the THRU the BIBLE program and has a heart for sharing the gospel. Some days ago, he asked us for radio receivers to distribute to people in need. He shared about how THRU the BIBLE radio programs are helping people to grow spiritually.

He shared with us a powerful testimony about a homeless man who recently accepted Christ. After this man gave his life to Jesus, the evangelist gifted him a radio receiver loaded with prerecorded THRU the BIBLE programs in the Kazakh language. Since that day, they have met several times and the homeless man’s life has been transformed. He carries his radio receiver everywhere and listens to it constantly. More than that, he has started sharing the gospel with others, joyfully testifying to how God is changing his life.

Praise God for this man’s salvation! His life is a living testimony that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. May we be inspired to believe God for similar miracles in our own communities.
