Clinging to Galatians 6:9 in Saudi Arabia
May 17, 2021
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” -Galatians 6:9
Welcome, World Prayer Team. We’re clinging to Galatians 6:9 this week as our travels take us to some of the most oppressive countries in the Middle East. Today we’re praying for God’s Word as it goes out in a country with one of the world’s worst religious freedom and human rights records in the world, Saudi Arabia.
Known as the home of Islam, Saudi Arabia attracts millions of Muslim pilgrims annually. Most Saudis are Wahhabi Sunnis, following a strict and literal interpretation of the Quran. Strict religious laws make it extremely difficult for believers to practice their faith, and Saudis who follow Jesus face severe persecution, even death.
It’s here that THRU the BIBLE faithfully shares God’s Word in Arabic on radio, satellite TV, and the internet. While listener responses are few, we trust God is at work drawing more people to Himself through the incredible gift of His Son, Jesus.
Today as we thank God in advance for His harvest in Saudi Arabia, let’s intercede for those ministering in this spiritually dry and inhospitable land. Ask Him to encourage them, sustain them, and give them hope so they do not grow weary.
Do you know someone who speaks Arabic? Share the many ways THRU the BIBLE is available to them.
Tomorrow we’re praying for open hearts as God’s Word goes out in Oman. Join us as the journey continues.
Listen here to TTB-Arabic.
