A family finds faith in Iran

"And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself." –John 12:32
Traveling the world together on our knees, we often pray for entire families to come to faith. Today as we travel to Iran, let’s praise Him for doing just that. Here’s Daria’s story:
“By the grace of God, I became a believer in 2019 through a series of interesting and beautiful events in my life. I thank God that I have come to believe in Jesus Christ and now worship the living God.
“My brother was instrumental in changing our family's thoughts and behavior. He shared with us about Jesus Christ and His miracles, which initially caused some tension. However, as he continued to speak about Jesus, read the Bible, and pray for us, his words began to resonate. He particularly prayed for our mother and all of us in the name of Jesus Christ.
“When I fell ill, my brother prayed for me and encouraged me to believe in the living God and pray for healing. My faith transformed into a deep belief when I heard the Good News of the gospel. He also advised me to read the Bible and listen to your programs, which have been a source of spiritual growth in my life. As I listened, others did, too. Soon they came to faith as well. God is faithful and we are grateful.”
God is at work, even amid resistance. Today, let’s pray He continues to draw hearts in Iran to Himself, just as He did in Daria’s family.
Father, thank You for the incredible way You work in our lives. As Your Word goes out in Farsi today, we ask You to break through the hardest of hearts so many more encounter Your saving grace. May the ones who resist You the most be the first to come to faith so the rest of the family is free to follow. May Your truth be undeniable and Your offer of salvation be irresistible. In Your mighty name, amen.
