Praying Luke 9:25 in Finland

“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?” -Luke 9:25
For six years Finland has held the title of “happiest country on earth.” Those who recognize this honor measure indicators such as health, life expectancy, GDP per capita, social support, low corruption, generosity in a community where people look after each other, and freedom to make key life decisions. However, as we look at the good that is going on in Finland, the rise of Islam and the growth of a secularized population within the church are causes for concern.
So, today we thank God for the many blessings experienced by Finns. Pray Luke 9:25, asking Him to bring renewal to hearts and churches throughout the country. In their peace and prosperity, may they not be lost to the world, but find the lasting joy found only in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
