Ronaldo in Costa Rica shares “the best day of his life”

Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. -Romans 6:3-4
Though our relationship with God is a private one, baptism is an outward act in which we make public our decision to follow Jesus. Ronaldo in Costa Rica recently took this step and is excited to share it with us. He says:
“I have been listening for about a year now and I love it. A pastor from Nicaragua taught me how to find you on the internet. Now, I listen to it on my mobile phone each day, sometimes more than once. I have learned a lot and wanted to let you know recently I made the decision to be baptized. It was the best day of my life. I feel confident that God has received me. I am a new creature by the grace of God. Thank you for your help in following Him. I am overjoyed to be His son.”
Our prayers are being answered. Thank God for this new brother and keep praying for more people in Central America and the Caribbean to join us in His Word today. In 2024, may many more “walk in newness of life.”
