There’s always something new to learn from God’s Word

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. -2 Timothy 2:15
“When you seriously study the Word of God, you see His road map in your life and in the patterns of history.” That’s what we hear from Dr. J. Vernon McGee as we go THRU the BIBLE together, and that’s also what we hear from this listener in Mexico. He writes:
“I thank God for you. I am from Peru and in the 1980s, when the country was going through hard times, your program helped me and my family hold on to the Word of God and live the Christian life.
“I will never forget how we waited with longing, and it served as a conversation starter between my mother and my brothers. Now I work in Mexico and travel to many countries, and your program on the internet is a blessing because the Word of God is alive. Every time I find something new, something that I did not see before, something I need for my life. God bless you and continue with your work, which is a great blessing.”
It’s true, the more time we devote to God’s Word, the more He teaches us. There is always something new. Today as we pray for more people in Mexico to discover the joy of reading His Word and following Him, let’s thank Him for the pleasure and privilege we have to know Him better through each chapter we study.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word of truth. Help us to walk in Your Spirit and grace as we search the Scriptures daily to discover what You have for us to learn. Give us understanding, teachable hearts, and guide us in Your truth as we seek to know You better, love You more, and walk in Your ways. In Jesus' precious name, amen.
