Verses to pray for unsaved family members

Watching someone you know and love deal with heartbreak or a debilitating illness is just plain devastating. Especially if they don’t know the Lord. That’s the situation an uncle in Indonesia finds himself in, so he requests our prayers:
“Please pray for my nephew, Rudi. He doesn't know God yet. On many occasions I have shared my joy in the Lord with him, but he is hardheaded. Now he is on dialysis and his wife is asking for a divorce. I know God uses many circumstances to get our attention, so please pray He uses these difficulties to open Rudi’s spiritual eyes.”
Are you praying for someone who has rejected the gospel or is ignoring God? As you pray for them, please pray for a change of heart for Rudi and all the loved ones of our fellow Bible Bus passengers.
Let’s ask God to give them a:
- New heart (Ezekiel 36:26)
- Humble heart (Matthew 18:4)
- Clean heart (Psalm 51:10)
- Pure heart (Matthew 5:8)
- Believing heart (Romans 10:10)
Pray with confidence, knowing our God loves us and delights when we come before Him.
