God is making new roads and rivers into the lives of Muslims

March 15, 2024

“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” -Isaiah 43:18-19

“My grief almost killed me.”

That’s the story we hear from Amira. Here’s more of her story:

“My husband and I had been married 10 years, and he recently died. At first, I wished I had died with him. The fears I had about living without him and raising our children alone were crippling. That’s when I found your programs. Although I am a Muslim, I found your teaching oddly comforting. In what seemed like a hopelessly bleak life, I have begun to see color again. I realize I am ready to leave the past behind. I am ready for something new. I am ready to follow Jesus.”

How exciting! Pray more people in the Middle East discover THRU the BIBLE on satellite TV and are introduced to the hope God offers us through His Son, Jesus. As they trust in Him, may they too find joy in the new roads and rivers He will make into their lives.

If you had to pick one word to describe God’s love, what would it be? A listener in Kazakhstan answers that question Monday on World Prayer Today.
