Jesus conquered all … for us

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” -Psalm 23:4
Sometimes life is just hard. Yet as dark as things get, we can be assured that God loves us. He is with us and death, loneliness, and despair do not have the final victory. Jesus conquered them. That’s the story we hear from a young mother in Algeria. She shares:
“I have a young boy and a young daughter. I was recently widowed. The despair and fear began to overwhelm me. Simple tasks like doing dishes or cooking meals felt like too much. One day I heard your program and began to listen. I liked what I heard and contacted you. Because of our interactions, I have accepted Christ and now desire to teach my children about Him, too. I joined one of the online group meetings and others there support me in prayer. Knowing God is with me in my pain is reassuring. I know there will be better days and my outlook for the future is positive. Thank you for everything.”
It’s true. As we walk through the valleys of shadows in our lives, God is with us. He is there, offering us His strength and hope. Pray more people in Algeria hear this good news and learn to lean on Him.
