Praise and Prayer Needs
Please remember our Creole producer, Storly Michel, in your prayers. Due to green card restrictions, he and his wife live in the U.S. and he performs his producer duties from here. But new responsibilities at the Christian radio network that airs our program require that Storly begin to travel to and from Haiti on a regular basis. Pray for safety and blessings in his travel and that he would be able to successfully balance all of his production and radio network responsibilities.
Relatedly, due to improved promotion of the online Creole broadcasts, we’ve recently experienced a great increase in the number of downloads. Pray that as more people realize these programs are available online that these numbers will continue to grow. Pray also that visitors to the website will encourage their friends and relatives in Haiti to become regular listeners of the radio programs.
Radio station WYGG in Asbury Park, New Jersey, will now be airing the TTB-Creole programs once each weekday. Praise God for this new outlet to reach Creole speakers in the United States and pray that the broadcast will minister to the hearts of many.
Praise for the successful construction and launching of Mission for Haiti’s radio station in Jacmel, Haiti, which began airing TTB’s Creole program in 2011. Pray that the initial enthusiastic response from listeners continues and grows.
Please pray for our many listeners throughout Latin America, that the program would be an effective tool in reaching them.
In many parts of the world illiteracy, lack of access to forms of communication, exorbitant postage costs, or even cultures hostile to Christianity prevent listeners from contacting us. In those cases we receive little to no direct feedback from listeners. Please pray especially for the production and outreach teams working on these languages, as it can be very discouraging to not receive communication in response to your hard work. Pray that God would grant them assurance in their hearts that their work for Him is not in vain. Pray also for the listeners, that they would be ministered to by the Holy Spirit in a life-changing way despite not being able to connect with us personally.
