No matter how it seems, God is never late

The Lord is not [slow]concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. -2 Peter 3:9
It’s often thrilling to travel together on our knees, seeing the work God is doing in the lives of our fellow Bible Bus travelers. However, in some regions it can seem tedious. With little response and often little visible change, some may grow weary and give up.
In 2 Peter 3:9, God’s Word warns against such thinking. In fact, we’re told His time is not our time and the wait is part of His plan to give everyone the opportunity to come to Him on their own. Today as we continue to pray for His Word to bring change in Fiji, thank Him for His patience and restraint. And when you feel anxious or worried and want God to act, ask Him to give you patience, too. Together, let’s pray more come to Him in faith while there is still time.
