We’re flinging the seed

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. -1 Corinthians 3:6-9

Dr. J. Vernon McGee once said, “Thru the Bible is in the seed-sowing business. Our job is to fling the seed.” Today, as God’s Word is broadcast in over 250 languages worldwide, we are excited to advance that mission. Our greatest joy comes from hearing stories from fellow Bible Bus passengers who actively participate, such as Marie from Texas:

“I’ve had the pleasure of handing out Bible Bus passes to several people. Recently, I was purchasing a few items in a local quilt shop and handed out Bible Bus passes to several of the clerks. Then the shop owner approached me, asking for a card. She mentioned that she had been trying to understand the Bible and was seeking help. I hope she has started listening to the broadcasts.”

Though we may not see the immediate impact of the seeds we plant, God promises to reward our efforts. Take a moment to pray and ask how you can be used by Him. Ask Him to open the doors for opportunity and give you the courage to share His Good News. Then pray others on the Bible Bus do the same.
