Finding your worth in Christ

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. –Galatians 3:26

Where do you find your worth? Many of us seek value in our work, relationships, or achievements. But what happens when those things fall apart? When the foundation we’ve built our lives on begins to crumble, we’re left searching for something more secure.

Felicia, a listener from South America, understands this struggle all too well. She shares:

“Lately, I’ve faced difficult tests in my marriage. My husband does not want me to go to church, and he told me that if I continued participating, he would leave. I was scared and tempted to walk away from my faith, but every day your programs strengthened me, reminding me, ‘Don’t leave God, don’t leave God.’
“Though it was a painful decision, I chose God, and my husband left. I was lonely and felt unloved, but I prayed and realized that the Lord was enough for me. In Him, I found everything I needed to be whole. I know now that I am His daughter. Now, two months later, my husband wants to come home and reconcile. Please pray for us, and especially for our children. I hope we can become a family of faith.”

It's true—no matter the trials we face, God’s love for us is unwavering. When we find our worth in Him, He becomes the secure foundation we need. Together, let's pray for those facing similar situations.

Lord, we praise You for the reminder that in You we have all we need. Thank You for the strength You give us to remain faithful in hard times. Bless those who are losing hope—help them find their true worth in Jesus and trust in Your never-changing love. Help us all to remember that our identity in You is secure, no matter what we face. In Jesus' name, amen.
