Faith in the Shadows: How Somali Believers Stand Strong

Somalia is one of the most challenging places in the world to follow Jesus. With a dominant Muslim culture and strict societal opposition to Christianity, believers often face persecution, isolation, and even danger for their faith. Yet, even in these hardships, God’s Word continues to reach the hearts of those who seek Him.

Through THRU the BIBLE’s Somali broadcasts, many people in Somalia encounter the transformative power of the gospel. Despite the risks, they listen in secret, finding comfort, courage, and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

This testimony is a powerful reminder that God is moving even in the most difficult places. His Word brings hope, strength, and endurance to those who trust in Him. As we hear this story, we thank God for these believers’ courage and for the many others in Somalia who secretly hold on to their faith despite the challenges.
