From One Woman to a Village—The Gospel is Spreading in Iran

Iran, a nation with a rich tapestry of history and culture, stands at a crossroads of ancient traditions and modern aspirations. Despite facing significant challenges, including restrictions on religious freedoms and societal pressures, the message of the gospel continues to resonate deeply within the hearts of many Iranians. The underground church is flourishing, and countless individuals are experiencing transformative encounters with Christ.

The Farsi language, with its poetic elegance, has become a vessel for sharing the profound truths of Scripture. Through various media—including radio broadcasts, online platforms, and personal relationships—the Word of God is reaching into homes and hearts across the nation. This movement of faith is not without its trials, but the resilience and dedication of Iranian believers serve as a testament to the power of the gospel.

A powerful testimony from Iran:

“I am a woman living in a small village. I have shared the gospel with my husband and children and with my friends and neighbors around me. I share with them and encourage them with what I am learning from your program. Once a week, we gather to talk about a portion of the program while having a time of prayer and worship.” 

This heartfelt testimony reflects the profound impact of the gospel in Iran. Through the diligent efforts of ministries like THRU the BIBLE, individuals, families, and whole communities are coming together and discovering the love of Christ!

We rejoice in the work that God is doing in Iran. We thank God for the courage of new believers, stepping away from long-held traditions to embrace the teachings of Jesus. • Pray for strength and protection - That Iranian Christians, especially those who face persecution for their faith, will be strengthened.

• Pray for unity and growth - That the underground church in Iran will grow in unity, wisdom, and numbers.
