From Darkness to Light: A Thai Farmer’s Story of Faith

Thailand is a country known for its breathtaking landscapes, vivid culture, and deep spiritual roots. The majority of its people practice Buddhism, and Christianity remains a minority faith. However, amidst the golden temples and bustling markets, God’s Word is making a difference. Many in Thailand are searching for truth, longing for peace, and discovering hope through THRU the BIBLE.

As the gospel spreads, challenges persist. Christians make up less than 1% of the population, and many believers face pressure from family and community. Yet, God’s light is shining in the darkness, drawing people to Himself.

A testimony from Thailand:

“I am a 62-year-old farmer. I can't see very well due to a stroke that has affected my vision, but I can listen to the Bible. It makes my life joyful in God. Thank God that He is always on time in my life and in every moment. After going to church, I often couldn't remember anything. But then I would listen to God's Word and I was able to remember the sermon and was reminded of the truth.”

We praise God for His work in this man’s life and throughout Thailand! Just as Psalm 119:130 reminds us, His Word brings light and understanding. As more people hear the gospel, hearts are being transformed, and communities are seeing the impact of the Good News. Let’s continue to pray.
