A Blind Man’s Story Is Shining God’s Light

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. – Romans 10:17
Today, we journey in prayer to Nigeria—a land with deep spiritual hunger. With a population of over 200 million people and more than 500 languages spoken, Nigeria stands as one of the most religiously active countries in the world.
Yet, despite widespread belief in God, millions still lack access to sound biblical teaching in their language. Through THRU the BIBLE’s broadcasts and digital platforms, the timeless truth of God’s Word is reaching hearts in many distinct languages. As God's Word goes out, it reminds Nigerians that He is their light and salvation—dispelling fear, strengthening faith, and equipping His people to stand firm.
Here’s one story from a blind man who listens to the Hausa language program:
“I am blind and listen to the Hausa program. I really appreciate the radio program! It is my source of spiritual strength since I cannot see. Every morning, I wake up and listen to the program with my family. The teachings keep encouraging me to stand firm.”

What a powerful image—a man who cannot see the world around him, yet he walks by spiritual sight each day through the Word of God.
