God’s Word and THRU the BIBLE programs in audio are a powerful tool to reach illiterate populations around the world.
In India, where nearly a quarter of the population is considered functionally illiterate and hundreds of languages are spoken, hearing God’s Word in audio is often the only way many can engage with Scripture.
Today, we hear from a listener in Chhattisgarh—a region home to many tribal communities who speak different languages. With little internet access in the area, SD card players loaded with THRU the BIBLE programs become a vital resource. No barrier, not even literacy, can keep God’s Word from reaching every person.
This testimony comes from a listener to the Halbi program:
“I am illiterate, but this SD card player has been a great blessing and a reason for my spiritual growth. Through the programs on it, I have learned and understood many new things. Halbi is my mother tongue. Listening to the teachings in my own language has made it much easier and more beautiful to learn and understand. I am truly thankful to God for this resource.”
