Praying Psalm 67:1-4
July 18, 2023
God be merciful to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us, that Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations. Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You. Oh, let the nations be glad and sing for joy! For You shall judge the people righteously, and govern the nations on earth. -Psalm 67:1-4
Welcome to Montenegro. On previous prayer journeys we’ve learned that Bible-believing Christians are few and bitterness between the Serbian and Montenegrins’ Orthodox churches continues to divide the people. Yet, we know God has a plan and purpose. So, as we pray for His Word as it goes out today, let’s use Psalm 67:1-4 as our guide:
Father, thank You for Your mercy and blessings in our lives. Today we pray Your face will shine upon the people of Montenegro. As they hear Your Word may Your ways be known and Your praises be shouted among all the people. Together may we sing of Your goodness and mercy forever. In the precious name of Jesus, amen.
