Praying for those who teach the truth in the DRC

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. -2 Timothy 2:15
“I ask you to pray,” says Victor from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He continues: “Our church is growing quickly, and I am being asked to teach often. Will you request the Lord gives me knowledge on how to confidently and accurately teach His Word? I listen to your program and learn something new each time. I pray He speaks through me and gives me the gift to share it with others. Not so that I am praised, but so that His purposes are accomplished.”
What a great request. Today let’s pray for Victor and all those who teach God’s Word in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Let’s use 2 Timothy 2:15 to begin:
Father, thank You for Your Word and those You have called to share it with the world. May they walk in Your Spirit and search the Scriptures daily to discover what You have for them to say. Give them understanding, a teachable spirit, and guide them into all truth. In Jesus’ name, amen.
