Describe the Bible in one word

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. -Hebrews 4:12
How would you describe the Bible in just one word? It’s challenging, isn’t it? Maybe words like transformative, timeless, sacred, or life-changing come to mind. For Rachel, a student in Canada, one word that describes the Bible is relevant. Here’s her story:
“I was born and raised in Gujarat, India, and I am currently a student in Canada. I watch your Gujarati programs on YouTube and have also participated in the Bible Quiz. I’ve been following the program for over a year now and really appreciate it. It has significantly helped me understand the Bible in depth and apply its teachings to my current situations. It’s surprisingly relevant. The speakers’ detailed and encouraging remarks are particularly valuable.”
Rachel’s experience reminds us that while many may think of the Bible as an ancient text, it is anything but outdated. It is living, breathing, and powerfully relevant, offering wisdom and guidance for every aspect of our daily lives. It speaks directly to our current challenges, joys, and questions, showing us God’s truth in real, tangible ways.
As we pray for more people in Canada to hear THRU the BIBLE, also pray that they, like Rachel, see how God’s Word speaks directly to them. May His love be revealed through His Word in unmistakable ways.
