Pray for Gambians to boldly and lovingly share the name of Jesus

November 14, 2024

“Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” -Matthew 9:38

In Gambia where more than 90% of the population is Muslim, a surprising level of religious freedom and tolerance makes it one of the few places in the region where Christians can openly share their faith without fear. However, only 55% of the population has heard the name of Jesus Christ, and many Gambians are reluctant to share the gospel.

Pray that the Lord of the harvest stirs our brothers and sisters’ hearts in Gambia, filling them with courage and compassion to reach out to their friends and neighbors with the Good News of Jesus Christ. May they boldly and lovingly proclaim the name of Jesus to those who have yet to hear of His deep and sacrificial love.
