Persist in prayer
December 03, 2024
"But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!" –2 Chronicles 15:7
Welcome, World Prayer Team. Today we travel to Nigeria, where we meet a fellow listener named Chioma who shares:
“My husband, a politician and former House member, introduced me to the program. He himself is not born again, but as I started listening, I began praying for him to get closer to God and be saved. I also share with him the truths I hear from your teachings. Lately, he has started going to church. This is all because of the great teachings of God’s Word that we hear from you. I am also praying that since he has made the first step, the Lord would completely draw him to give his life to Jesus and live for Him. I have been waiting for this for many years, and I am happy to see that God is working in his life.”
Are you inspired by Chioma’s perseverance? Keep praying for the ones you love, even when the journey is long. Thank Him for the strength He gives us to remain faithful in prayer, and ask Him to continue drawing our loved ones closer to His heart.
Come along next time as we travel to Cambodia and meet a teenager with a touching story about finding her purpose in God’s Word.
