Seeking salvation in Burundi

The journey of accepting God’s grace isn’t always linear and, often, it’s messy. That’s what we hear from a listener named Bernard in Burundi. He shares:
“May the peace of God be with you. I greatly appreciate the teachings from the Bible that are shared through this program. Although I have not yet found salvation, I am deeply moved by your programs. My current struggle is debating my desire for salvation. I kindly request your prayers, as I encounter obstacles each time I attempt to confess and repent. I am determined to overcome these hindrances and accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for the help you provide. May God bless you.”
Thank God for His Word that is stirring hearts in Burundi. Let’s pray for Bernard and others who are on the path to believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Lord, thank You for how Your Word is moving in Burundi. We lift up Bernard and all on the Bible Bus who have heard about your plan for salvation but have not yet surrendered their lives to You. Remove the obstacles that stand in their way, and draw them into the fullness of Your grace and salvation. Soon may they have the joy and peace of being filled by Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen.
