A breakthrough in Bolivia

December 18, 2024

For the commandment is a lamp, and the law a light; reproofs of instruction are the way of life. –Proverbs 6:23

“I am a retail merchant, who goes out every day trying to make a living. I received Jesus Christ as my Savior a little over a year ago. In church, they recommended that I listen to Christian radio every day to learn the Word of God. I have a radio that I always carry with me, and that is how I listen to the Thru the Bible study in the Quechua language. Please pray I grow in my faith.”

That’s the good news we hear from Angas in Bolivia. Today, let’s ask God to strengthen the understanding of all those who hop aboard the Bible Bus and pray that THRU the BIBLE in the Quechua language continues to impact hearts, reaching even the most remote places with the gospel.

Thank you, Lord, for this new brother in Bolivia who has found the light of Your Word. We lift up all those who are new in faith, asking you to strengthen their walk with Jesus and let the teachings they hear each day bring clarity and understanding.

We also lift up all those in Quechua-speaking communities who have yet to hear Your Word. Open their hearts and minds as they listen, and let Your truth take root in their lives. Bless THRU the BIBLE and all who labor to bring the gospel to the ends of the earth. May Your Word continue to be a lamp and a light to all who seek You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
