Bringing Biblical Truth to Vietnam—A Pastor’s Powerful Testimony
February 21, 2025
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. – John 8:32
Vietnam is a land of stunning scenery, vibrant customs, and resilient communities. However, amidst its vibrant culture, many struggle to find spiritual freedom. The country’s history includes decades of war, political changes, and challenges for the Christian community. While religious expression is permitted, many believers face obstacles in practicing and sharing their faith openly. Yet, despite these difficulties, God’s Word taught on THRU the BIBLE’s Vietnamese programs is making a powerful impact.
The growing underground church movement in Vietnam reflects a deep hunger for biblical truth. Many believers meet in homes or small groups, risking opposition to worship together and study Scripture. The message of Jesus is bringing transformation and hope, strengthening faith where it is needed most. The testimony below is a beautiful example of how God’s Word is breaking chains and setting hearts free.
A note from a pastor in Vietnam:
“I am 50 years old and I am a pastor of a Hmong church with 3,200 members. I thank God for allowing me to listen to TTB, which has greatly helped me in teaching the Bible. There are many things in the Bible that I never knew before and had not thought of. There were many parts of the Bible that I still didn't understand, but TTB gave me clarity on these matters. I want to thank the TTB program for helping me very much.”
We praise God for those who are faithfully serving churches in Vietnam and for the work He is doing there through THRU the BIBLE. The truth of John 8:32 reminds us that real freedom is found in Jesus Christ. As more people hear the Word in their heart language, we pray that they will continue to experience the peace and transformation that only He can provide.
Let’s lift up Vietnam in prayer, asking God to strengthen His church, protect believers, and open doors for more people to hear the gospel. May His Word bring light to those seeking the truth.
